Changsha Sunye Electric Co., Ltd. 1st Table Tennis Match

Under the scorching sun and in the blazing heat of July, the first table tennis match of Sunye Electric was officially launched at the beginning of July. Employees from all departments enthusiastically participated, with both male and female players practicing hard. The company offered generous rewards to motivate the participants. After several rounds of intense elimination matches, the first-ever table tennis competition concluded successfully with a fiercely contested final on July 26th, reaching a near-professional level.

Throughout the competition, senior and middle management frequently visited the venue to cheer on the players and closely followed the match updates. Participants practiced diligently during their spare time to improve their skills, hoping to showcase their best performance. In the preliminary round held on July 12th, a total of 49 players from 25 teams took part. The event was presided over by Li Cheng, manager of the warehouse department, and Guo Zhongxiang, manager of the technical support department. Matches were divided into men's singles and women's singles categories. Through intense knockout rounds, 8 female and 9 male players advanced to the semifinals. The finals for both men’s and women’s singles on July 26th brought the entire event to its peak. The venue was packed with spectators, cheering loudly — only to fall silent at critical moments, afraid that even a breath might affect the spin of the tiny ping-pong ball. Players focused intently, competing fiercely with skillful serves and returns. Techniques such as forehand, backhand, smashes, spin shots, and loop drives were clearly displayed before the audience. Cheering from supporters filled the venue repeatedly, echoing through the building. The women’s singles final featured Xu Wei vs. Luo Ruiping from the Commercial Department. Both remained calm and focused, exchanging powerful rallies and counterattacks. Eventually, Xu Wei won 2–0, claiming the women’s singles championship. In the men’s singles final, Yang Qishun from the Warehouse Department faced Huang Yang from the Production Department. Soon after the start, Yang launched an aggressive attack, showcasing varied techniques and powerful smashes. Huang, however, stood firm against every fast-paced assault, playing steadily and confidently. The scores were neck-and-neck until Yang narrowly defeated Huang 2–1, securing the men’s singles title. After fierce competition, Yang Qishun, Huang Yang, and Li Cheng claimed the gold, silver, and bronze medals in the men's singles respectively, while Xu Wei, Luo Ruiping, and Tang Yingzi took the top three spots in the women's singles category. At the end of the event, Zhang Ting, Director of Human Resources and Administration, represented the company in presenting the awards.

This event highlighted employees' passion for sports, enhanced communication and understanding between departments, and strengthened friendships. It also fully demonstrated the team’s positive spirit and fighting attitude, contributing to a harmonious and energetic corporate culture.
