To grow through reflection and gain valuable experience from past performance, while enhancing market adaptability and strengthening sales relationships, Sunye Electric held its 2020 Annual Sales Summary Conference & New Year Motivational Rally on January 28, 2021. Group General Manager Ning Yu and Sunye Electric General Manager Gong Jian both attended the event, joining elite members of the national sales team at the Changsha Sunye Industrial Park for an engaging and productive discussion.

Leaders' Remarks

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Ning Yu, General Manager of the Group, delivered the opening speech. He highly commended the sales team for their resilience and dedication in overcoming pandemic-related challenges throughout the past year. Additionally, he shared insights into how the company can continuously enhance its market value.

He stated: In any industry, having a cohesive and efficient sales team is always the key to driving sustainable growth. Especially in today's increasingly competitive environment, continuous optimization of the sales process will be crucial to maintaining a strong position.

Mr. Gong Jian, General Manager of Sunye Electric, echoed this sentiment and outlined specific directions for marketing optimization based on the conference’s central theme — reviewing the past and planning for the future.

Gong Jian emphasized that to achieve excellence in sales, each team member must maintain high personal standards. Just as wood requires a straightedge and metal needs polishing, only by objectively analyzing historical data with a realistic attitude can we identify strengths and weaknesses, enabling strategic planning and impactful decision-making.

The meeting then moved into the review session, where regional sales managers took turns presenting. From construction machinery to general applications, they analyzed current industry competition and showcased Sunye Electric's marketing achievements throughout 2020.

Since collaborating with Hiconics Drive and Automation and Midea in 2016, Sunye Electric has significantly improved in technology, funding, supply chain management, and standardized production. More notably, the company’s ability to absorb and respond to market changes has greatly expanded. From annual output below 100 million yuan to nearing 500 million yuan, Sunye has undergone numerous market tests and faced increasing complexity in strategic decision-making.

To cultivate independent problem-solving capabilities within the sales team, Sunye introduced a group discussion segment during this year’s conference. Through public topics, participants were encouraged to form regional teams and collaboratively develop actionable strategies for capturing market share in the coming year.

How to accurately assess market demand, identify target customers, analyze competitor advantages, and find breakthroughs in performance was the focus of these discussions. During the session, four groups actively presented their views based on regional sales realities. Finally, under the concluding remarks from General Managers Ning Yu and Gong Jian, a consensus was reached:

"Sales is not merely about selling products. It involves understanding market dynamics and principles that determine whether a company remains passive or proactive. Learning how to explore proactively and adapt flexibly will be essential for every marketing team moving forward."

The call to action for 2021 has already begun. With stirring music filling the air, several red military orders, symbolizing honor and determination, were handed over to General Manager Gong Jian. As regional sales managers took the stage to receive and swear upon them, a vivid picture of Sunye Electric’s 2021 sales strategy unfolded before everyone. The unity and determination of the entire team ignited thunderous applause that echoed through the venue.

“May we ride the wind and break through ten thousand waves.” During the motivational session following the oath ceremony, General Manager Gong once again emphasized the importance of teamwork and unity. He cited last year’s successful upgrade of the production line as an example, highlighting how the entire team came together despite the challenges of the pandemic. This spirit gave the company a special significance and inspired great confidence in its future.

Worth noting is that Gong also shared his expectations for the sales team in the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of focusing inward, staying humble (like an empty cup), working together, and above all, adopting a mindset of “strengthening the foundation while pursuing innovation.” These guiding principles aim to transform the team’s mentality, empower them with new perspectives, and lead them confidently into the new market landscape.

Without small steps, one cannot travel a thousand miles. Consistent with previous years’ objectives, this conference aimed to uncover insights through reflection, paving the way for continuous improvement and building a solid path toward corporate success.
