How to select the speed control mode of a general-purpose inverter: Also known as high-performance inverters, sensorless vector inverters, or torque control inverters, why are they called so? The main reason lies in their different speed control modes. So, how do you choose the speed control mode for an inverter?

First Type: Sensorless Vector Control
Refers to open-loop vector control, suitable for typically high-performance control scenarios where one inverter can only drive one motor. Examples include loads such as machine tools, centrifuges, wire drawing machines, and injection molding machines. When setting the inverter function code (i.e., setting F0.01), select the setting range value: 0.
Second Type: Vector Control with Speed Sensor
Refers to closed-loop vector control, requiring an encoder to be added at the motor end, and the inverter must be equipped with a PG card compatible with the encoder type. Suitable for high-precision speed or torque control scenarios. One inverter can only drive one motor. Examples include high-speed papermaking machinery, lifting machinery, elevators, etc. When setting the inverter function code (i.e., setting F0.01), select the setting range value: 1.
Third Type: V/F Control
Suitable for scenarios where load requirements are not high or when one inverter drives multiple motors, such as fan and pump loads. Can be used in scenarios where one inverter drives multiple motors. When setting the inverter function code (i.e., setting F0.01), select the setting range value: 2.
