Industrial ceiling fans are widely used in large spaces such as industrial plants, mechanical processing, logistics warehousing, livestock farming, tall exhibition halls, and commercial venues where cooling and ventilation are required. Compared to asynchronous motor industrial ceiling fans, the outer rotor permanent magnet direct drive industrial ceiling fan replaces the traditional combination structure of four major components: asynchronous motor, gearbox, blade mounting base, and protective cover. This effectively reduces the cost, size, and weight of the fan. The permanent magnet direct drive motor not only achieves significant energy savings but also eliminates the need for gearbox maintenance.

CM530HS inverters from CMC are applied to permanent magnet direct drive industrial ceiling fans with the following advantages:

1. No gearbox, high carrier frequency, low electromagnetic noise, and excellent silent operation; 2. Sensorless vector control, wide speed regulation range; 3. High steady-state accuracy, ensuring smoother fan operation; 4. High reliability, capable of rapid cooling at high speeds and effective ventilation at low speeds, with no motor temperature rise or noise during prolonged low-speed operation; 5. Significant energy savings, with an average energy saving of over 40%. The image below shows the on-site application of a permanent magnet direct drive industrial ceiling fan. With a blade radius of 3.5 meters, including the end baffles, motor diameter, the entire ceiling fan assembly can reach a diameter of up to 7.5 meters.
