Ensure the following points when confirming the installation environment for low-voltage inverters:

1. Operating Temperature

The power electronic components of the inverter are highly sensitive to operating temperature. The product generally operates within a range of 0–55℃, but to ensure operational safety and reliability, it is recommended to allow for some margin and preferably control the temperature below 40℃. In the control cabinet, the drive should be installed in the upper part of the enclosure, strictly following the product specifications for installation requirements. It must not be installed close to heating elements or placed at the bottom of the drive where heat can accumulate easily.

2. Ambient Humidity

When the ambient temperature is too high and fluctuates significantly, condensation may easily occur inside the low-voltage inverter used in Xinjiang, greatly reducing its insulation performance and potentially causing short circuits. If necessary, desiccants and heaters must be added inside the cabinet. In water treatment rooms, where steam is generally heavy, this issue becomes particularly prominent if temperature fluctuations are large.

3. Corrosive Gases

If the environment contains high concentrations of corrosive gases, they will not only corrode component leads and printed circuit boards, but also accelerate the aging of plastic parts and reduce insulation performance.

4. Vibration and Impact

When the low-voltage inverter control cabinet in Xinjiang is subjected to mechanical vibration and impact, it may result in poor electrical contact. In addition to increasing the mechanical strength of the control cabinet, it should be installed away from sources of vibration and impact. 5. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

During operation, due to the frequency conversion and rectification processes, many nearby instruments may experience interference caused by high-frequency waves generated around the inverter. Therefore, instrument cabinets and electrical and electronic systems should use metal enclosures to block interference. All connections between components should be grounded. Additionally, shielding of electrical components, equipment, instruments, and control cables should be properly grounded.
