What are the control methods of low-voltage frequency converters

New pressure inverters are commonly used executive components in industrial applications due to their excellent speed control performance and simple, convenient control methods. Therefore, they are widely applied in automation systems.

Typical Wiring Method of Inverter Main Circuit

Generally, in actual use, certain components of low-voltage inverters in Xinjiang may be selectively used depending on the application scenario. For example, if the site involves small power equipment, a braking resistor is often not configured. If the motor is located close to the inverter, an output reactor may also be omitted. Of course, these selections depend entirely on specific conditions. If not necessary, they can be excluded. While including them does not cause any harm, it will increase system costs and complexity. As seen from the interface, it includes digital input/output, analog signal inputs, and more. These diversified interfaces provide multiple options for system design.


Digital Input

When only basic functions such as starting, stopping, reversing, or multi-speed control of the inverter are required, digital inputs are sufficient to achieve motor control.

Analog Input

In applications where motor speed adjustment is needed, an analog speed-control signal can be input into the inverter to achieve precise motor speed regulation.

Digital + Analog Input

In scenarios such as constant pressure water supply, the pressure signal from an external pipeline pressure sensor can be connected to the analog input port of the inverter. Using the built-in PID control function of the inverter, a closed-loop control system can be formed to achieve the goal of maintaining constant water pressure, forming a constant pressure control unit. Digital signals are used to control the start and stop of the inverter.

Communication Bus

If the system supports a control bus, more flexible control can be achieved through the bus, reducing the number of cables required. Via the communication bus, the inverter’s control mode and operating status can be easily monitored and controlled.
